Adam became a principal with Bilyk Financial in 2013, and has been practicing in the financial services industry for over a decade. Adam is committed to continuing the tradition of working in the financial service industry that began with his grandfather. He serves the financial needs of his clients through effective wealth management.

Joe Bilyk

Joe is a second-generation financial planner and has been in the investment and risk management business for over 36 years. He is very proud to have his son Adam carrying on the legacy that was started by his father, Ed, in 1970. Our family philosophy is simple: Do what’s right for the client first, and the rest will take care of itself.

Dylan Bredo, CFA®, MBA

Dylan Bredo is principally involved in quantitative and statistical portfolio modeling, portfolio analytics, reporting, and asset allocation. Dylan’s key strengths lie in fundamentally evaluating security markets as investable opportunities within a bottom-up framework. Drawing from a diverse background in business analytics, computer science, finance, and economics, Dylan focuses on finding excellent securities, regardless of industry or economic conditions. With a knack for simplifying complex ideas, Dylan helps lead the client communications effort within the group, helping to quarterback a high-touch, client-centric wealth management process.

Alice Ingraham

Office Administration and Human Resources

Alice is a personable individual who is a graduate of NAIT, earning a diploma in Office Administration and Human Resources.

With her combined work experience and post-secondary education, she is committed to helping the Bilyk Financial team. She enjoys anything outdoors including hunting, fishing, and camping as well as snowmobiling and snowboarding in the winter.

Celebrating Over 50 years!

As we welcomed a brand-new decade, 2020 also marked a significant milestone for our business. Starting with Ed & Anne Bilyk in January 1970, Bilyk Financial has been providing advice in Vegreville and the area for over 50 years. We are very proud to see our growth over the last five decades expand across Canada to Ottawa, Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Toronto And Surrounding Communities.

Strength in Our Roots

When Bilyk Financial started, interest rates were much higher, making investment solutions relatively simple. Ed maintained that good relationships were the base of all we do. We still have clients to this day that Ed had worked with from the beginning. It’s humbling to hear stories of how his advice has continued to shape their lives and those of their families. These relationships continue to flourish, for which we are very grateful.

Our Evolution Through Time

Bilyk Financial has evolved over the years, and the stewardship that started with Ed was passed along to Joe. Joe added solutions that improved the offerings for clients and their ability to succeed at their goals. Adam joined over a decade ago, and things continued to evolve for our family office. We have been able to take our collective knowledge passed down from generations and learn innovations to grow our company to where it is today. Our team holistically plans for our clients by using all the tools at our disposal to bring them the best possible solutions.

Building Community is Good Business

50+ years of business is something we are very proud of and will continue to call Vegreville home. Recently our our office expanded into Edmonton, Calgary, and Vancouver to help strengthen our growing business outside our hometown. We still believe in our community first and have spent countless hours and financial support on a new initiative for the Elk Island area. We know we would not be where we are today without our clients or community. To celebrate 50+ years, we are proud to be supporting the Elk Island Community Foundation to help support key projects and non-profits in the Elk Island area.

We still hold the core philosophy Ed always spoke, “Do what is right for the clients first, and the rest will take care of itself.” We hope to continue Ed’s legacy and look forward to another 50 years!
